Lion alcometer SD400
A fully automatic, easy-to-use breath-alcohol measuring instrument for use by traffic police, in industry, medicine and in many other applications. On account of its high long-term accuracy, the SD-400 is approved (and used) in various countries as an evidential instrument.

Simply switch on, attach a mouthpiece and instruct the subject to blow. His or her alcohol level is shown just seconds later on a large, easy-to-read digital display. Each test result is then stored in memory, along with date and time, for later downloading to a computer system for management purposes. A data-logging system (e.g. operator, subject, sex and age) is also available.

Alternatively, connect the instrument to a PC loaded with LION OnLine-400, for a PC-based report-printing system at low cost.

Lion alcometer SD-400P

A fully portable printing system, consisting of an SD-400 Alcolmeter attached to a small, battery-operated thermal printer, all housed in either a soft waterproof shoulder bag, or in a strong 'Pelicase' carrying case.

Whatever the package, the whole system is fully automatic and very easy-to-use. The very- comprehensive test result printout may be specially configured to suit your requirements.

Lion alcometer 500


The new alcolmeter 500 is small in size and weight, yet big on performance. Switch on, attach a mouthpiece and ask the subject to blow; everything else is fully automatic. The graphics display guides the user through the test procedure.

Breath alcohol readings are shown between 0.02 - 2.00mg/l BrAC, or in the %BAC equivalent, or in other units. A PASS-WARN-FAIL display system is also available.

Lion Alcoblow

AlcoBlow is a hand-held screening instrument for use at traffic roadblocks. It enables the officer, within seconds, simply to determine if a driver has alcohol in their body. It is also invaluable in alcohol control programs, such as in prisons, industry and schools.

The AlcoBlow uses no mouthpieces and may be used in either active or passive mode.  It displays the subject's breath-alcohol level by means of three LED indicator lights for PASS, WARN or FAIL levels.

Lion SD2

The lion alcolmeter® SD-2 has become a modern classic in the breath alcohol industry.


The system uses a manual sampling procedure which requires to operator to trigger the sample operation once an indicator light shows that sufficient air has been blown through the mouthpiece.

The lion alcolmeter® SD-2 has been superseded by the 500 and thus if you want the popular SD-2, Pacific Data Systems has refurbished ex-Australian police units for sale.

  

 

Screening Instrument Software

Lion Data 400
Each time a lion alcolmeter® 400 tests a subject's breath, the test result data is stored in its memory. This data may simply be the alcohol reading, with date and time; or it may include the test location and reason codes, the identity number of the operator, and the gender of the subject, if required.


Data-400tm extracts this data from each instrument and stores it on your PC's hard drive. From there it may be printed out or exported to another software package, such as Microsoft Excel*. Data from one instrument may then be merged with data from others, to build a complete analysis record of breath testing results in your area.

Evidential Instruments

 Lion Intoxilyser 8000
 
The Lion intoxilyzer 8000 is the first of a new breed of evidential breath alcohol instruments. This is the world’s first portable dual-wavelength infrared analyser designed specifically as a portable evidential breath-alcohol analyser.  It holds internationally-accepted OIML certification and will soon have Australian National Measurement Institute R126 certification.

Weighing in at under 7Kg, the 8000 is equally capable of being powered from a 12V vehicle supply or from the 240V mains supply. It will even run on it’s own internal rechargeable battery for total flexibility of use. The fold-down laptop-style keyboard offers full control of the system while the 40-character display and the built-in printer provide the user interface information and the evidential print-outs.  An external A4-sized laser printer is available as an accessory
   


Calibrations

Worksafe SA can also assist company's and individuals with calibrating Lion breath testing instruments.  Calibration is conducted using NATA certified solutions and can be conducted onsite eliminating the need to remove instrument from worksite.
