Drug & Alcohol Awareness Seminars

Worksafe SA provides seminars to assist in Education and Training on Drug and Alcohol policies.

The program objectives are:

1. Be able to recognise the potential impact of drug & alcohol misuse on work safety.
2. Understand a summary of the effects of drugs & alcohol on human performance and behaviour.
3. Be aware of the need for a fair, controlled system of drug & alcohol testing
4. Be aware of the benefits of such a testing system to both the individual and the company / organisation
5. Understand the methods of conducting the drugs & alcohol testing
6. Understand the company's/organisation's policy & procedure on drug & alcohol testing.

Our seminars are not anti-drinking, anti-drug lectures. They are designed to eliminate risks to health and safety due to irresponsible use of drug & alcohol before or during working hours.
